One of the miracles of Jesus was the feeding of the five thousand , (more when you include women and children). The people were hungry and Jesus has compassion on them. I would like to draw our attention to the lad with five loaves and two fish and think of what he could have done with them. He could have just kept them for himself or better yet he could have shared with a friend. But he did what was best and they were given to Jesus and a whole multitude was fed. God's people have many needs today. Perhaps you don't think you have much to offer by way of gift, talent, etc., but when they are given to Jesus wonderful things can happen and a multitude can be blessed.

Lord help us to yield our lives to be used for thy glory. We give thanks in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen

Break Thou the bread of life, dear Lord, to me,
As Thou didst break the loaves beside the sea;
Beyond the sacred page I seek Thee, Lord;
My spirit pants for Thee, O living Word!

Bless Thou the truth, dear Lord, to me, to me,
As Thou didst bless the bread by Galilee;
Then shall all bondage cease, all fetters fall;
And I shall find my peace, my all in all.
